We’re always looking for new courses throughout Australia to try out, and we’re not disappointed with how quickly disc golf is catching on throughout the country. If you’re a frisbee golf enthusiast in Brisbane, we have a list of some of the best disc golf courses nearby to the city. So what are you waiting for? Head on out and give these courses a go!
The Brisbane City Council built this course in 2020, so it’s relatively new to the area. It’s designed to test the ability of even the most experienced disc golfers, pushing them to throw off both wings, thread the needle, commit to risky lines, and execute on shorter holes. However, if you’re not experienced, don’t worry. The Cadogan Street Park course is an exciting challenge for golfers of all abilities.
If you’re a beginner at frisbee golf in Brisbane, the Freney Street course is ideal. Located in the heart of Rocklea, this is a relatively straightforward course, but experienced disc golfers shouldn’t discount it by any means; it may just surprise you.
The Alexander Clark Park course has been around since the 1990s and was recently refreshed and redesigned in 2018, so it has updated signage and nine new baskets. It’s in a lovely location within a shady park nearby to the Logan River.
One of the larger courses in Brisbane, the John Bray Park course, has plenty of holes you can let rip on. There’s plenty of variety in holes, so beginner, intermediate, and experienced golfers can all enjoy a game.
This is one of the prettiest places to play disc golf in Brisbane. The Pine Rivers Park course has meticulously manicured lawns framed by colourful native flowers and the stunning Pine River. So if you’re looking for a scenic place to play, you can’t go past Pine Rivers Park.
